Week 2 2G and 3G Initial Procedures

Another very interesting lecture.
As the week pass there is more material notes to read
and also have start on the 2000 word essay assignment.

    The 2000 word assignment is titled " An Introduction for Femtocells into the Commercial Mobile Networks ".

    Femtocells and Picocells will form an integrated part of the Long Term Evolution (LTE) Networks.
    Femtcells are cellular mini-base stations and offers improved wireless coverage indoors.
    LTE deployment is expected to boost shipments and revenue.
    Many manufacturers and companies such as Alcatel-Lucent and Motorola are supporting the a new interface - 'lu-h'- in the LTE architecture.
